The name Hugs was taken from the comments we received when people first chilled on our bean bags at the Venice beach boardwalk a couple of years back. We had set out to create the ultimate bean bag chair after being disappointed from other gaming chairs, bean bag chairs, and “lovesacs”. We were a couple of college students on a budget thinking there had to be a way to make a bean bag chair more than just a bag or a sac. Thus, after months of experimenting the first Hug beanbag was born. A piece of furniture that molded perfectly to the body, providing full support from head to toe, whether you’re sitting, reclining, lying on your stomach or back. We felt that we were truly on to something.
We hit the streets with our unique beanbag chairs and the reactions were so overwhelmingly positive that we decided to embark on a comfort crusade leaving college, our mothers and girlfriends behind. Our mission, to show the world there is a better way to chillax by spreading the love with hugs!
Today we have expanded our product line to include more high-end bean bag chairs, including outdoor bean bag models, and luxury lounge chairs.
